In 2008, Traue was cast in the role of lead actress in the film Pandorum which is a thriller/science fiction film directed by Christian Avart and written by Travis Milloy and starring Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster. Robertson was in a number of movies and TV shows, such as Diggstown with Vivian Jefferson (2021-2022), The Blackening Block Party: Juneteenth featuring Keke McQueen (Keke McQueen 2020) among others. Her family was from Jamaica and was born in New york. Her parents were originally from Jamaica and eventually settled at New York. She studied at Stony Brook University where she earned a BSc with a major in Chemistry.
